Visualize and validate your production line before ordering, installing or moving anything.
Installing a new machine or reconfiguring a production line is costly if you make a mistake. With OPERA BUILD, you import your CAD files, project your equipment at full scale in your workshop using a headset, and validate the ergonomics, workflow, and layout—before investing a single euro in construction or equipment. According to a sector survey, 3D simulation reduces production time by 25 % and eliminates costly implementation errors.
Easily implement your new line without several days of training.
Import your files from major design software
OPERA BUILD accepts 3D files from major CAD software. Your models are converted to a format optimized for smooth mixed reality viewing on the Quest 3 headset.
For large files (large production lines or direct files from CAD software), a PC-VR connection via Link cable is recommended for optimal performance.
Projecting a full-scale machine in a workshop using a Quest 3 headset
From digital model to real workshop — in 6 steps
Import your 3D file
Upload your CAD file (CATIA, SolidWorks, Fusion 360…) to OPERA BUILD. It will be converted and optimized for smooth projection on a headset.
Project to scale in your workshop
Using the Quest 3 headset, you see the entire machine or production line in real size, positioned within your physical space. Move, rotate, and adjust the layout in real time.
Validate the ergonomics and the flow
Test operator traffic flow, access to workstations, and space constraints. Identify layout problems before the first drill hits the ground.
Associate the job-related actions with each position
Directly from the modeled line, associate the OPERA TRANSMIT recordings with each workstation. The entire line is documented from A to Z, including actions, even before it physically exists.
Validate the production rate and ergonomics
Simulate the production flow and estimate the expected output volumes. Check the ergonomics of each workstation — access, range of motion, risk of musculoskeletal disorders — before the line is installed.
Share and document the decision
Export the validated layout view for your design office, management, or client. Layout, production rate, ergonomics, and work processes—everything is documented before work begins.
From CAD import to documented line items with associated job-related procedures for each workstation
In what situations does OPERA BUILD intervene?
Confirm the layout before work begins
You're opening a new production line. Before ordering the equipment and starting work, you test the complete layout at full scale in your workshop. Zero unpleasant surprises.
Reconfigure an existing line
Are you reorganizing your workshop or optimizing the flow? Test several layout scenarios in mixed reality before physically moving the machines.
View a machine before delivery
Has your supplier sent you the CAD file for the machine to be delivered? Import it into OPERA BUILD and project it in your workshop to validate the integration before delivery.
Presenting a client project in an immersive format
Designing a line for a client? Present the layout in mixed reality directly on the client's site. A visual decision is worth more than a 2D plan.
Validate the ergonomics before installation
Test the work surface height, reach areas, and traffic flow around the workstations. Identify potential musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) before the line is installed.
Document the line from A to Z
Associate each workstation on the line with the job-related actions recorded via OPERA TRANSMIT. The line is fully documented — layout + procedures + actions — even before it is put into service.
Confirm your next installation plan before installing it.
Import your first CAD file and project it in your workshop. In less than an hour.
